A new home for Austin’s youth baseball community

Like many families in Austin, our journey into youth baseball started simply: sign up for rec ball, show up to practices, cheer from the bleachers, and hope our kids learn to love the game.

Along the way, something became clear: Austin has incredible baseball energy, but the information, resources, and connections that support families, coaches, and players are scattered everywhere. Finding the right league, trainer, facility, camp, or even basic guidance often comes down to word of mouth, late-night group chats, or trial and error.

ATXYouthBaseball.com was created to change that.

Youth baseball is about more than wins and losses. It’s about:

  • Learning confidence and resilience

  • Building friendships and community

  • Developing skills on and off the field

  • Creating positive, lifelong memories

But too often, families feel overwhelmed or unsure of where to start, or where to go next.

ATXYouthBaseball.com is being built as a central hub for Austin-area youth baseball, designed to make the experience better, clearer, and more connected for everyone involved.

Our Mission

To support and strengthen the Austin youth baseball ecosystem by connecting families, coaches, and players to trusted local resources, and to do it in a way that’s welcoming, transparent, and community-driven.

This is not about gatekeeping knowledge or pushing one “right” path. It’s about giving families options, context, and confidence as they navigate the game.

What We’re Building

ATXYouthBaseball.com is evolving in phases, but the long-term vision includes:

A Curated Local Directory

A growing, searchable list of:

  • Leagues and organizations

  • Training facilities and coaches

  • Camps, clinics, and skills programs

  • Baseball-friendly spaces and services

Everything focused specifically on youth baseball in the Austin area.

Practical Resources for Families & Coaches

Clear, experience-backed content like:

  • Pre-season checklists for volunteer coaches

  • Guides for parents new to baseball

  • Insights on player development at different ages

  • Advice rooted in real-world youth sports experience

No fluff. Just helpful, honest guidance.

A Connected Community

Highlighting:

  • Local programs doing great work

  • Coaches and trainers investing in kids

  • Organizations that put development and values first

The goal is collaboration, not competition.

Who This Is For

ATXYouthBaseball.com is built for:

  • Parents trying to make informed decisions for their kids

  • Volunteer coaches looking for support, tools, and confidence

  • Players who want to grow and enjoy the game

  • Local organizations and trainers who care about developing athletes the right way

Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or starting to take the game more seriously, there’s a place for you here.

A Community-First Project

This project is intentionally grassroots.

ATXYouthBaseball.com isn’t backed by a national league or a big brand. It’s being built by a local baseball dad, volunteer coach, and community member who believes Austin deserves a shared, trusted space for youth baseball knowledge and connection.

And it won’t be built alone.

How You Can Be Part of It

This is just the beginning. You can help shape what ATXYouthBaseball.com becomes by:

  • Submitting local resources or organizations

  • Sharing feedback on what would be most helpful

  • Spreading the word to families, coaches, and programs

  • Following along and engaging on social media (Instagram/Facebook)

The best version of this project is one built with the community, not just for it.

Let’s Build This Together

Youth baseball has the power to shape kids in meaningful ways, but only when the environment around it supports growth, learning, and joy.

ATXYouthBaseball.com exists to help make that environment stronger in Austin.

Thanks for being here early. We’re just getting started, and we’re glad you’re part of it.
